Talk to a licensed provider

A provider licensed in your state reviews your intake and connects with you. They talk through your history, ask follow-up questions, and decide whether a prescription is right for you. If the answer is no, they'll explain why.

What the consultation looks like

Your provider will:

  • Review the intake you filled out
  • Ask follow-up questions about your health history
  • Talk through your goals and what you've tried before
  • Walk through what to expect on a GLP-1 medication if one is appropriate
  • Decide whether to write a prescription, and at what starting dose

What it isn't: a hard sell. If a GLP-1 medication isn't right for you, your provider will say so.

Is this the same as Ozempic or Wegovy?

No. We prescribe compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide, which are prepared by a licensed pharmacy. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved as finished products. The active ingredients are the same family of medications used in those brand-name drugs, but the products are different.

Who prescribes the medication?

A licensed healthcare provider in your state. They review your intake, talk with you, and decide whether a prescription is appropriate for you.

How long until I get my medication?

After a provider approves your prescription, the pharmacy typically ships within a few business days. Shipping times vary by location.

What if it doesn't work for me?

You can cancel anytime. If you're having side effects or concerns, contact Andrew Meds so the right team can help.

Do you take insurance?

No. Andrew Meds is a cash-pay service, which keeps the process simple and the pricing predictable.
